Ralf gets £60m new Toy
By STAN PIECHA
RALF SCHUMACHER is on the verge of signing a £60million deal to drive for Toyota next season.
A contract for the five-year agreement has already been drawn up.
And it includes bonus performance clauses which could give the German an EXTRA £4m a year.
Schuey Jr is poised to leave BMW Williams, who want to cut his wages from £12m a year to £3m.
A source close to Schumacher said: “It looks odds-on that Ralf will be at Toyota next season because there is no way Williams will try and match the offer.”
A move would see Schuey Jnr remain the second highestpaid driver on the grid behind brother Michael, who coins £25m a year with Ferrari.
Toyota are serious about reaching the very top — and their annual racing budget is estimated at £300m.
But the team scored just two points in 2002 — their debut season — 16 last year and have none this term.
The source added: “Ralf is 28 and feels this could be his only chance of joining a team which he can help transform just like Michael has done.

Saludos.
